Woodland Trust is one of the UK’s leading woodland conservation charities. Their vision is “to see a country rich in native woods and trees enjoyed and valued by everyone.” Their aim is to “work with others to plant more native trees, to protect native woods, trees and their wildlife for the future, and to inspire everyone to enjoy and value woods and trees.” They have inspired nearly two million children to plant more than seven million trees. That’s just one of many accomplishments that you can read about on their very full and active website. The site offers clever activities, fun projects, beautiful photography, intelligent resources, and practical, clear information. If you are interested in connecting or reconnecting with nature, Woodland Trust is a great resource, as well as an organization with a noble cause.
